CR Hope Foundation - Zanzibar

When we had the amazing opportunity to meet Renos Fountoulakis and visit CR Hope Foundation to make a film for it I felt immediately that it was something that we couldn’t miss. We arrived at Seeds of light school and the vibe we felt was out of this world. We saw about 60 volunteers from Fathers and Kids Camping under the direct sunlight, tireless and without cutting any corners trying to build the other half of the school and a playground for the kids. We have to consider here that most of the kids from Kizimkazi have never seen a playground in their life. What I felt when I watched kids at the age of 5 witnessing a playground for the first time is a feeling I will probably never forget in my life. I am obligated to personally thank each and everyone of the families involved in the making of this dream come true for those lovely kids of Seeds of light school. 

When someone asks me what I remember most about Zanzibar is how kids and people from such an unprivileged background can have such big smiles
