Somewhere in Faroe Islands w/ Aris Katsigiannis

Personal

If you look for the Faroe Islands on the map you will find them in the middle of nowhere, from their location alone you will understand that, what you are about to encounter, you have never seen before. Imposing landscapes, lawns on the roofs, endless cliffs and pure Nature. One experience, however, will remain unforgettable. At that time the day lasted 23 hours and the night only 1. So on our last night we decided to do a hike. We started the hike at 3 in the morning, where it took 4 hours to reach the point we wanted (the shot that closes the video). Ten minutes before we arrive, in the middle of nowhere we start to see 2 hawks flying above us. 2 became 4, 4 became 8 and so on. Until within a few seconds we found ourselves among ten hawks diving and attacking us. At some point I turn around and see a hawk at a distance of 20 centimeters from my face and its beak coming at me. If you spend 2 minutes trying to avoid hawks, it seems like 2 hours! The thought that we were 3 hours away from civilization was particularly stressful. In the end, we came up with the idea that if we head towards the sea it would be better. We did run into a big cliff and finally, we managed to avoid them!
